Congratulations to all staff and students who competed in the Southern Jam jazz competition held last week. Once again, our jazz students came away with a swag of top prizes, and special congratulations to the students and groups below for their results:

Combo – Gold Award, Best Combo and Overall Festival Winners

Big Band – Gold Award and Runner Up in Big Band Category

Junior Jazz – Silver Award

Ben Rainey – Best Trombone and Best Musician

Gus Ellerm – Best Trumpet

Sam Hollis – Best Bass

Also, well done to five of our students, Stefan Hall, Ben Rainey, Gus Ellerm, Sam Hollis and Edward Taylor who were selected for the All Stars Band – the most from any school!
