Congratulations to three of our students who have gained a place in the Extra! Writing Competition run by the Otago Daily Times.

Well done to Jacob Parsons (Year 10) for gaining second place for his poem 'Long Term Breakfast' and Harrison Smith (Year 10) for his third place poem 'The Arsonist' in the Year 9-10 Poetry Section and to Samuel Donaldson (Year 9) for his third place story 'One More Time'. 

The winning pieces were published in the ODT Extra! Section, which is their youth writing section.
