Last Friday 10 Year 12 and 13 students attended World Vision's 2015 GLC leadership day. Students listened to a variety of different speakers who spoke of their experiences with leadership, community service and also got to hear from the World Vision youth ambassadors who went to Malawi to see the effect of last year's 40 hour famine proceeds and the difference the funds have made. There was also some time dedicated towards planning how the community service leaders can run the 40 hour famine this year and how to get people excited and interested in participating.
