A big congratulations to nine students below who competed in the South
Island Schools Orienteering Championships at Orton Bradley Park and Lincoln
University during the term break. The team ended the weekend with 11 podium
finishes including Lachlan Wells (Year 10) and Ayton Shadbolt (Year 9) sharing
the junior grade honours. These results gave St Andrew’s College the honour of being the top school in the
Secondary School boys’ grade, and second
overall in the Year 7 and 8 boys’ grade.
