The Ice hockey New Zealand U18 team won the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) U18 IIIB Ice Hockey World Championships in Johannesburg, South Africa – they won all games and took out gold. Alex Egan (Year 13) and George Hopkins (2015) were both on this team.
