The Herzog Klaviertrio (William Muir - Y13, Finn van Dorsser - Y11), together with Selena Sun from Burnside High School) were awarded the Joan Kerr Gold Award as one of six finalists in the finals of the New Zealand Community Trust Chamber Music Contest in Auckland. This is an amazing achievement for this talented trio.

The Joan Kerr Gold Award is presented to the six national finalist groups. Each member of the six groups receive a certificate during the Award Ceremony following the national final. The Gold Award is named in honour of Mrs Joan Kerr who was instrumental in both the success of Chamber Music New Zealand (when it was known as the Music Federation) and in the establishment and implementation of this Chamber Music Contest in its early years.
